The unforgettable Dalyan Tour starts with your transfer from your hotel around 09:00am. After an hour drive by bus, you arrive in Dalyan where you will be transfered into river boats to get to the sights of this unique area through the maze-like passages of tall reeds.
On the way to the Mud Baths, the river boats stop at the magnificent Rock Tombs of Caunos ancient city. The tombs belong to the kings of ancient Lycia and date back to IV. century B.C.
The Mud Baths and Thermal springs of Dalyan have a history of five thousand years and have drawn in a legion of famous people over the years like Dustin Hoffman, Sting and David Bowie to name a few.
After an open buffet lunch at a river-side restaurant, the next stop will be Turtle Beach ( Iztuzu in Turkish ), surrounded by salt water on one side and fresh water on the other. It is one of the last breeding grounds of the Sea Turtles and therefore delightfully undeveloped. The one and half hours beach-break will be merely enough to savour the blessings of this exceptional sand bank, to swim and to enjoy the Mediterranean sun.
You will be transfered back to your hotel around 19:30pm at the evening.
